Dance Worship

We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions. Psalm 20:5

Dancing with flags, or banners, demonstrates a true love and Worship of our God. When operating with a true and pure heart, flag worship promotes spiritual activation. Just a few of the purposes of using flags include: honoring God, drawing His presence, proclaiming victory, and conducting spiritual warfare. Waving a flag at extreme velocities results in intricate dynamics shaped by the interaction of the flag's material with the surrounding air. Therefore, the size, shape, and color scheme of the flag produce a complex and non-repeatable visual stimulation. Unstable edge flapping produces unique sounds depending on the speed and size of the worship flag. Given the interesting flag dynamics, the color scheme and patterns signify specific spiritual meaning. Heartfelt worshipers select a particular flag depending on the goal and present spiritual atmosphere. For example, some flags might signify fire, a flowing river, celebration, or silence.

Dance as an Act of Worship

Dancing reflects an emotional expression reflecting one’s joy and reverence for God. Dancing is not a performance of self-aggrandizing. King David’s worship and dance as documented in biblical scripture are rich in meaning, embodying the essence of passionate devotion to God. His actions foster a communal spirit of worship that emphasizes joy, repentance, and the overarching importance of heartfelt praise.
Living Word fosters Worship Arts including flag and dance ministries promoting Praise, Honor, and Glory to God.
